Delhi string quartet is the only INDIAN string quartet in Delhi for last 20 years. the members are highly educated and talented music performers and teachers. Over the years many members have joined the quartet which has became an orchestra and members take turns to play for the concert/event depending on the level of the performance .

Trained from the US, Ramen Paul is a trained teacher teaching music for last 20 years. An authorized  teacher of Trinity College, Rock School, Rock and Pop and Royal College,London, he has performed in more than 22 countries with many orchestras and symphonies and with the Calcutta String Quartet. He now plays with the Delhi String Quartet.

History

Delhi String Quartet was initially called the Calcutta String Quartet. As the Calcutta String Quartet, the members traveled across India and also abroad for various performances. Once a sizable chunk of the Calcutta String Quartet relocated to Delhi, they started the Delhi String Quartet in 1998. They have continued performing across various venues across Delhi, India and abroad. They’ve performed in various embassies for dignitaries of various nations. They also perform at weddings, parties and various other functions.

They have mastery over a variety of musical genres and styles performing Pure Classical, Light Classical, Jazz, Pop, Broadway Classics and Bollywood music.
